Hi, I’m Laila—an athlete at heart and in practice. I’ve been active my entire life, from competitive cheerleading to cheering in college, movement has always been part of who I am. But in 2016, everything changed. After undergoing back surgery, I had to relearn how to walk and faced significant weight gain during recovery. That chapter tested me in every way, but it also became the start of my transformation—mentally, physically, and emotionally.
In 2020, I reignited my love for fitness, this time through lifting. I began recording my progress, studying strength training and nutrition, and slowly built not just a stronger body—but a stronger mindset. I regained my confidence, learned to love myself again, and found purpose in helping others do the same. Today, I focus on mobility, stretching, and lifting as the foundation for sustainable, long-term strength. Outside the gym, I also coach cheerleading, where I get to pour into young athletes and remind them of the power of discipline, movement, and self-belief.
